Sweet Chilli Prawns

A very easy, delicious and tasty spicy prawn dish.

Ingredients:

Raw king prawns | 165 g

Onion/spring onions | ½ an onion - chopped or 3 spring onions - chopped

Garlic | 1 clove - chopped

Ginger | ½ tsp - chopped

Knorr fish stock cube | ½ a stock cube

All-purpose seasoning | ½ tsp

Chilli flakes | ½ tbsp - (optional)

Paprika | ½ tbsp.

Chilli powder | ¼ tsp or pinch - (optional)

Dried parsley | ¼ tsp

Sweet chilli sauce | 3 tbsp.

Spray oil


Directions:

In a large pan, heat cooking oil over a medium heat until hot. Add the chopped onions/spring onions, garlic and ginger and cook for 3 - 5 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. If desired, cook a little longer until edges start to brown.


Add the chilli flakes, paprika and raw prawns. Fry the prawns for roughly 3 - 4 minutes or until they turn pink making sure to turn frequently as they cook very quickly. Stir in the chilli powder, dried parsley, Knorr fish stock cube and all-purpose seasoning, cook for a further 2 minutes or until the stock cube has completely dissolved. Finish off by stirring in the sweet chilli sauce, continue to cook until the prawns are completely coated with the sweet chilli glaze.


Serve your sweet chilli prawns immediately on a sesame seed cracker bread topped with mashed avocado, or enjoy on their own or over a bowl of rice.
