Homemade Strawberry Jam
Incredibly easy homemade strawberry jam!

Prep time: [10 mins]
Total time: [50 mins]
Ingredients:
Fresh strawberries | 450 g - chopped or crushed
Lemon juice | 1.5 tsp
Granulated white sugar | 200 g
Boiling water
Directions:
In a heavy bottom pan, add the chopped/crushed strawberries, lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir over a low heat until the sugar completely dissolves. Increase heat to high, and bring the mixture to a full rolling boil, stirring frequently. Continue stirring until you get thick drips rolling off the back of the spoon.
Sterilise the jam jars in boiling hot water for 5 - 10 minutes. Transfer the strawberry jam into the hot sterilised jars then leave to cool. Once cooled, serve the jam on a scone with Cornish clotted cream.
Store the jam in the refrigerator and consume within 3 months. Always keep jam stored in refrigerator as it does not contain any preservatives and remember to always check for signs of spoilage before consuming.
Enjoy!
