Classic Hot Chocolate

When the cold sets in, comfort yourself with this perfect winter warmer.

Ingredients:

Milk | 600 ml

Double cream | 150 ml

Plain chocolate | 100 g - chopped (you can also use dark or milk)

Sugar | 3 - 4 tbsp. (demerara or granulated) - optional

Whipped cream


Directions:

In a medium sauce pan, add milk, double cream and chopped chocolate and gently bring to a boil over a medium heat, whisking until smooth. Add the sugar and continue whisking until you have a smooth creamy mixture.


Serve hot chocolate in your favourite mug topped with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
